The Jones & Sadi Garpu families announce with profound sadness the peaceful home-going of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother in her 92nd year of life.
Anna Saloma Jones commonly known as “NA” departed this earth on Tuesday March 19th, 2024 at 11:30 am in Wayzon, River Cess County, exactly ten weeks after the death of her beloved son E. Manna Jones.
The late Anna “NA” Jones touched the lives of many in Liberia, the united state and around the world. She found joy in taking in anyone who needed a home and feeding the hungry. Her memory will forever be in the hearts of all those who knew her.
She was predeceased in death by her mother Padeh Garpu, Sadi Garpu, husband Ernest D. Jones, children, Ethel Somah, Salome Jones, Viola Jones-Gbelama, Janet Jones-Kesselly, Jasper Jones, Nathaniel Jones and Emmanuel Manna Jones.
She is survived by her children, Tarwel Andrew Jones, Nora Somo Jones-Harrigin (Joseph Rudy), Tenneh S. Jones, Bertha Zoe Jones, Varnie Karmo Jones (Mary), Kamah Francis Jones-Gbour (Erick), Josiah Garpu Jones, Arimetta Jones-Brown (Isaac), M.JanJay Jones (Nancy), & Edith Jones, Seventy-six grandchildren, eighty great grand, great great grandchildren and a host of relatives in the US and Liberia.

Her remains will be remove from Bryant Horace Funeral Home Yarpah Township, River Cess County April 19th, 2024, at 3:00 P.M.
