On Friday, December 8, 2023, The Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Eta Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Liberia, held the Annual Black and Gold Scholarship Awards Ball. The event was attended by about 300 persons. Several Companies sponsored the event with their generous contributions. Liberians honored with Alpha Awards included: D. Elwood Dunn, PhD; Faith Akovi Cooper, MPA; Elie Saleeby, DBA; Yatta Sackie Wapoe, MD; Romelle A. Horton, PhD.; and T. Negbalee Warner, LLM.
Dr. D. Elwood Dunn received the Alpha Award of Honor. Dr. Dunn is bereaved and burying a sister this weekend and couldn’t be at the event.
