The Cummings and Porter families are announcing with profound sadness the home going of their daughter, mother and sister Catherine Cummings of Indianapolis, Indiana on June 25, 2026 at 5 AM after a short battle with cancer which she fought valiantly. May her soul rest in peace.
She leaves to mourn her loss two sons: Dionte and Eliajuan Porter, eight grandchildren, husband, Dexter Porter, parents: Ralph and Mona Cummings, siblings: Ralna Cummings Accius (Smith), Ralph E. Cummings (Elizabeth), Nyemade’ Cummings Eastmond (Keno), Teta Duncan Tamba (Richard), and Bendu Cummings Fawine ( Peter). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her eldest son Dequan Cummings and her mother Sarah Davis.
