The Stewart, Korvah, Kimba and related Families announce regrettably, the passing of their beloved, Elizabeth Zoe Korvah Stewart in her 71st year. She was born on October 10, 1954 and died on June 30, 2026, at a local hospital in Minnesota, after a brief illness. Her parents were Reverend Father Paul Moniba Korvah and Mary Wambo Kimba Korvah both of whom predeceased her. Aunty Zoe, aa she was affectionately called by friends and family, was a native of Lofa County, Liberia, Elizabeth was viewed as a God-loving, friendly woman who consistently cared for others throughout her life.
Her caring, humble personality was her most prominent feature as a child, which showed through her generosity towards family and friends. She was a selfless and cheerful giver. She is survived by her older sister, Joyce B Korvah Dakinah, and younger siblings, Catherine Talata Korvah Agbele ( Emmanuel), Teresa Dedeh Korvah Newton ( Wellington) and Winifred Segebeh Korvah King (Edwin). Equally , she leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and other friends and relatives. Her two younger brothers, Clement Korvah and Paul Korvah, predeceased her. She was also widowed by Stanley Momolu Stewart in 2012.
Wake keeping will be Thursday, July 30- , 6-9 pm ; Funeral service. Friday July 31 at 10 am. Both at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 4201 Sheridan Ave S, Minneapolis , MN 55410( tel.-612-922-0396). For further information please contact Frank Nguafua 612-221-5382.
