The Marshall and Ricks families sadly announced the home-going of their mother, grandmother, sister and aunt Aletha Ricks-Marshall which occurred on Thursday, November 20, 2025 9:30 A.M. at her children’s resident in Newark, New Jersey.
She is survived by her loving children, Reidy Dennis (Maretes), Rockyfellow Marshall, Benjamin Marshall Jr., Fedora Glanton (Dan) Pearl Marshall, Sharon Marshall, her grandchildren along with her sister Jenetha Ricks-Gardiner and brother Samuel Ricks. She was predeceased by her husband Benny Marshall, her mother, Pearl Legree; her father, Hon. John Henry Ricks, Sr. ,brothers and sisters. Also mourning her loss are her nieces, nephew’s and a host of relatives both in the USA and Liberia.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Viewing will be from 9-10 A.M. the service will start immediately thereafter at the Cotton.
