Shedrick Alexander Goodridge was a devoted father and a man whose quiet strength left an eternal imprint on the lives he touched. He led his family not only with words but with actions—teaching through the knowledge of the soccer field, showing through one-on-one talks.
He leaves behind his beloved wife & widow, Evelyn Goodridge. His children— Shedrick, and Evan Goodridge Jason Cassell, Latoya Cargeor —he was more than a father. He was a mentor and a coach, His love was constant, his lessons enduring, and his example one of humility and grace.
Though his journey here was not without trials, Shedrick lived in a way that honored God—a life marked by service, compassion, and purpose. As scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.”
Shedrick’s race is now complete, and we rejoice in knowing that he rests in the eternal peace of Heaven—welcomed home by the God he served so faithfully. His legacy lives on in his children, his family, and all who were blessed to know him.
