The Yancy, Blidi, Toh and Carr families announce with profound sadness the peaceful home going of Roland Togba Yancy ‘‘Boy’’ affectionately called by his siblings and friends; a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, in law and friend who responded to the call of God Almighty to reside in His Heavenly Kingdom on Sunday February 28, 2021 at his home in Loganville, GA surrounded by his family.
He leaves to mourn his cherished memory his mother, Agnes B Toh, devoted and loving wife Jaywon Elizabeth Carr, children, JayJay (Hilda); Zulu; Bofor (Dawnick); Mercie; Mardea; Bill; Diamond; Blessing; and eight grandchildren. His father, Charlie B Yancy Sr. and three brothers who predeceased him. Siblings Helen; Josiah; Charles Jr; Kamah(Calvin); Ora (Arthur); Paul Maxwell(Julia); Richard (Meattia); Nanah; Elizabeth (John); Mercie (Frantz); Amos (Agatha); Michael (Garmai); Daniel and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and friends. Roland transitioned to the life beyond and brought great sorrow and left a void in our hearts. May his soul rest in perpetual peace.
