It is with sadness that the Gaines, Taylor, Johnson, Norris, Goodridge, Phillips, Saywah, Williams, and Agboola families announce the death of their beloved mother, sister, grand-mother, aunt, in-law, and cousin. This sad event occurred on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Virtua Hospital, Camden, NJ, USA
Big sister as she was affectionately called by her siblings had a love for teaching which led her to (KRTTI) Kakata Rural Teacher Training Institute. She graduated with honors, and dedicated her time and passion as an Educator in the school system of the Republic of Liberia (Principal of the school in Unification Town) called Smell No Taste All Saints Catholic School of Margibi County.
Big sister is predeceased by her parents (Mr. Phillips and Ethel J. Taylor), husband (James K. Gaines) and daughters (Mimi N. Gaines and Dekontee Y. Gaines). She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her children Garduweh Gaines- USA, Melvin Juju Gaines, Chuka T. Gaines – USA. Chupee W. Gaines-Liberia, Kanvee Gaines-Adams-UK Four (4) grandchildren (Feemon J. Dorley, Jayden Gaines, Gaymel Gaines and Laurine Gaines of the United States., two (2) brothers Edmund Johnson (Janet), Herbert Williams (Martha), Four (4) sisters Olivia Phillips-Saywah, Roseline Johnson-Goodridge (Joseph), Danlette Johnson-Norris, Paulenna Williams-Agboola, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and host of other family.
