The Neal, Weaver and King families announce with profound sadness the peaceful passing of George Nathaniel Neal, Jr. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in Laurel, Maryland with his wife and family by his side.

George leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife Miatta King Neal; sons George Yuah Neal and Christian N. Neal. He is also survived by his siblings: Dr. (Mrs.) Eleanor Rose Neal-Ehanire, Ms. Mariette Neal, Ms. Bettie Lou Neal, Mr. Thomas Neal, and Ms. Martha Golfphin; mother-in-law Sando Comfort Reeves; sister-in-law Verlaine King-Jones (Paul Boto), brothers-in-law Rev. Frederick Richelieu Reeves (Ruth), Samukai Samuel King (Leona), and Eugene Ashong; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives from the Neal, Weaver and King families; and friends in Liberia, Nigeria and the United States.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents of blessed memories Mr. George Nathaniel Neal, Sr. (1970) and Mrs. Adeline Beatrice Weaver Neal (2013); and his siblings Jimmy Neal (2011), Natalie Neal-Darby (2014), Lavar McBorrough and Comfort Kelly Larsen.

May his soul rest in perpetual peace. All who knew and loved George will remember his quiet and kind spirit.
