With mournful hearts, the Wright and Carter families announce the sudden homegoing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Mother Alberta Cornelia Edwina Wright Carter. Ma AC, as she was affectionately called transitioned to be with the Lord in her 77th year on Friday, August 30, 2024 at her Brewerville residence in Monrovia, Liberia. She was a humble, kind and loving person.
She was a graduate of the Liberia National Police Training Academy and worked with the Monrovia City Corporation Police Department, where she served her country until her retirement. She also served the Bible College Community while working at the Prime Nursery Elementary & Junior High School until her demise in several capacities as matron, register, teacher, and lastly manager of the campus store. She was a mother to all her children’s friends and everyone who knew her. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
She is survived by her children, her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives in Liberia, Euro, Canada, USA and other parts of the world.
The body will be removed from the AB. Anderson funeral home on Friday September 20, 2024, at 1:00 pm and taken to the GEDA A. M.E church for an hour of wake keeping.
