The Kallon & Taylor families announce with heavy hearts and deepest regrets, the passing of their husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and cousin Deacon Abu K. Kallon.
Abu, who was affectionately called by his friends Doc, Doctor Chevagi and by family “bu”, was born on September 5, 1962 in Logan Town, Monrovia, Liberia. He was the fourth of five (5) children unto the marital union of Roland E.S. Kallon, Sr. and Lucy Dorslah, both having predeceased him. Abu Koffa Kallon, along with his siblings, Mozart Bernard, Jr. (deceased), Roland E.S. Kallon, Jr. (deceased), George Kallon (deceased), Felicia Kallon, Arnold Omar Kallon, Lucy Kallon-Justice, and Fatu Kallon- Macauley have been brought up under the firm discipline and principle of both parents, knowing God, respecting country and cherishing family.
Abu is survived by his wife, Helen Taylor-Kallon, his two daughters; Jamesatta Sanyeneh- Rahim and WyNitta Sanyeneh-Kesler from a previous relationship, two sons and stepson; Helka Kallon, “Baby Dee” Kallon and Joel Manyon , his siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
May his soul rest in perfect peace and eternal light. He will be GREATLY MISSED…gone but FOREVER in our hearts.
