The death of Williette Naylong Dunbar, formerly of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, is hereby published. After a few years of illness, Naylong passed away in Liberia on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the home of her sister, Joyce Dunbar-Sherman, and her sister’s husband, Cllr. Varney Sherman. Naylong is survived by her children, Bledeh, William, Joytrese and Thomas (a.k.a. Tommy), a host of brothers, sisters, cousins and other relatives and friends in America and Liberia.
Funeral & Internment Protocol for the late Williette Naylong Dunbar
The Dunbar & Farngalo Families announce the Funeral & Internment Protocol for the Late Williette Naylong Dunbar as follows:
1. Friday, January 9, 2026 @ 2:00 pm, the remains of the late Williette Naylong Dunbar shall be removed from the Anderson Funeral Service at Lynch Street, Monrovia to the Ebenezer Global Methodist Church at Lynch Street, Monrovia.
2. Friday, January 9, 2026 @ 3:00 pm Funeral Service for the late Williette Naylong Dunbar shall be conducted at the Ebenezer Global Methodist Church at Lynch Street, Monrovia.
3. Friday, January 9, 2026, immediately after the Funeral Services, the remains of the late Williette Naylong Dunbar shall be escorted to the Anderson Funeral Services at Lynch Street, Monrovia.
4. Saturday, January 10, 2026, @ 7:30 am, the remains of the late Williette Naylong Dunbar shall be removed from the Anderson Funeral Services at Lynch Street, Monrovia and driven to Dunbar Farm at Palala (after Gbarnga), Bong County for internment.
5. Saturday, January 10, 2026, immediately after the internment at Dunbar Farm, a Repass shall be hosted by the Dunbar & Farngalo Families at Dunbar Farm.
