It is with profound sadness that the Scott, Bedell, Elliotte, Johnson ,Moore, Landford and Morris Families announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, Cousin,Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Mr. William Bere Scott on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the residence of his daughter Mrs. Dorothy Moore Dadzie in Fairfax, Virginia, USA. His departure leaves a void that can only be filled by the memories of his warmth, kindness, and generosity. He was commonly called Teacher Scott by his students, Papadoo by his daughter and Papay by his children.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Mrs. Cecelia Eliotte- Scott, daughters Dorothy (Emmanuel Dadzie) Agnes Scott – (Deceased), his sons, Tommy Scott, Nyema B. Scott (Esi Scott), William B. Scott, Jr, Isaac Scott and Daniel Scott, sisters, Madam Dorothy Scott, and sixteen siblings who (predeceased) him.
Grandchildren, Tata, Thelma, Sekou, Cecelia, Barbee, Tommy, Patricia, Joseph, Janice, Bill, Jannelle, Terrence,Bobby-(Deceased), Yhtorod,DeeXander, Myra, Lola, Annie and William.
Great grandchildrenDoris, Agnes,Martina-(deceased),Prince,Aminata, Mariama and Great great grandchildren Vonnell and Vonnie.
He leaves to mourn his many nieces and nephews, Maureen Tode Bedell, William Landford, Patrick Morris ,Annie Dahn, Wede Nyaley, Siede Bedell,and a host of other relatives in Liberia,Nigeria,Europe and the United States Of America.
