The Harris’, Wolo’s, Grigsby’s, McBorrough’s, Mitchell’s, Draper’s, and Johnson’s announce the triumphant home-going of their loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and a child of God, Verna Munah Harris-Worthy (aka Teta). This sad event occurred at her home on Monday-April 15, 2024, in Duluth, Georgia.Verna attended St. Teresa Convent High School in Monrovia from kindergarten to 11th grade. She was selected for the student exchange program to attend 12th grade in the United States. She graduated from Midwest High School in 1973. After graduation, she relocated to the United States where she obtained a BS in

Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and two Masters in Business Administration and Human Resources from the DeVry University.

Verna was predeceased by her parents, Mr. John David Harris and Mrs. Araminta Ophelia Grigsby-Harris of Liberia, and Roland Bernard Dickerson (brother), Araminta Geboe Harris (sister), and Krystal Juah Bono (niece). Verna is survived by her siblings Rev. Oscar Sankan Dickerson, Sr. (Marion), Messa Ophelia Harris, Eartha Juah Harris, Bishop George Donald Harris (Rev. Musu), Alston Julius Kra Wolo, II. (Gertrude),

Min. Jackie Aurora Munah Wolo and Benedicta Amalia Wolo and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, in-laws and friends.
