Theresa Evelyn Griffiths Hardy, affectionally known as “TG,” departed this life Saturday, August 13, 2022. She was a devout Catholic and supported her local parish with her time, talent, and treasure. She prayed her rosary daily, lifting her loved ones to the grace and mercy of God. She was actively involved with the parish organizations and auxiliaries. Theresa was a linguist and spent many years as a supervisor of the international operators at the Liberian Telecommunication corporation (LTC). Theresa was called on several occasions to serve as the French interpreter for the Liberian Government. She traveled extensively abroad, spending time with her children in Boston, New York, and Ohio. Theresa loved to cook and entertain family and friends. She was always the life of the party. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Griffiths and Etta Elizabeth Roberts Griffiths, her husband Benjamin E. K. Speare-Hardy, Sr., her daughter Agnes Hardy, step-son Martin Hardy, son Henry T. Wesley, siblings Odette Griffiths, Danny Griffiths, John Griffiths, Lester Griffiths, Samuel Griffiths, and Georgeanna Griffiths. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Yvonne Griffiths Thomas, her children Daniel Bush, Arnold Dukely Rev. Fr. Dr. Benjamin Speare-Hardy II, (Stacy) Jefferson Bernard, (Amelia) grandchildren, Sharron Hardy Nagbe (Jeff), Jeff Bernard, Theresa Bernard, Tom Bush, Nuse Bush, Ian Smith, greatgrandchildren, Benjamin Hardy Nagbe, Jeff Nagbe, Anna Nagbe, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
