“The lord giveth and the lord taketh away”. It is with a heavy heart that The Sharpe, Warner, Mayson, Howard, Dennis, and Kai families announce with profound regrets the home-going of our beloved Husband, father, brother, cousin, nephew, Grandfather, and Uncle Mr. T. Garway Sharpe. This sad event occurred on December 16, 2022, at Mariam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island at 12:30pm. He made his exit to be with the Lord surrounded by loved ones including his wife, Elizabeth Sharpe.
T. G. Sharpe is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sharpe, Children: Trokon Garway Sharpe, Tonyah Garmar Sharpe, Tenesia Willow Sharpe, Catherine Marnage Sharpe, Glenn Garway Sharpe, Tridell Garway Sharpe and Tyrone Sharpe, Grandchildren: Mekhi Karim Hall, Tierra Lenore Sharpe, Tamryn Aliyah-Theo Hall, Tionna Tonyah Sharpe and Mateo O’Ryan Williams
Siblings: Susie Sharpe Carter (Rodney), David Deranamie, Tresa Sharpe, Zack Sharpe (Uluma) and Catherine Sharpe Davis, Uncles: T. Lysanda Mayson and Bennie D. Warner, Sr., Aunties: Martha Manley, Zanjay Warner and Martha Harris. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Theola Gray, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
TG or Teakpeh as he was commonly known was preceded in death by his father: G. William Sharpe, Sr., Mother: Willow Warner Sharpe, sister Nejae Matilda Sharpe, brothers: Peter Sharpe and Bill Sharpe.
We will miss his bright smile and gentle soul. We are filled with sorrow and heartbroken by this loss. We will forever cherish the memories and will continue to honor his legacy.
