It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and friend, Stanley Nyema Elliott, Sr., who departed this world on Thursday, October 26, 2023, in Sacramento, California, USA. His transition leaves a huge void in our hearts that can not be filled. He was born on January 15, 1938 in Ghana.
Although we mourn the loss of our beloved Father, we take solace in the memories of the happy and good times we shared and his positive impact on our lives and all those he came in contact with..
He leaves to cherish his memories his grieving children, Stanley Nyema Elliott, Jr., Annetta Elliott-Doegolia, Julia Elliott, Benjamin Nyema Elliott, Tantu Elliott, and Nyenati (Tee) Elliott; his siblings Eileen Elliott -Yates, Caroline Elliott – Glomah, and David Elliott. His elder sister Gifty Elliott – Biyoyouwei and brother Samuel Elliott predeceased him. Also cherishing his memories are his nephews Zokie Biyoyouwei and Charlie Biyoyouwei, nieces Martha Maui Elliott, Yeani Biyoyouwei and Sandra Glomah, cousins Dr. James Elliott, Cecelia Hanson-Blake, J. Nyema Elliott, Olivia Elliott-Wright, David Hanson, many grandchildren, relatives and friends.
He also leaves to cherish his memories his son Mark Elliott, his nieces Junde Dennis, Leoleen W.Jones, Dobladeh Elliott, Martha Glomah. Victoria Teetee Elliott-Wilson, Baby Mei Agnes Elliott, Nyemade Henry, Adenise Henry- Simmons, Marvelous, Nyemade Elliott- Outland, and nephews Tabla Glomah, Himmie Glomah, and Apostle Samuel Yelato Elliott.
His sister, Agnes Elliott and his sons Emmanuel Bai Elliott and Adolphus Elliott predeceased him.
May His Soul Rest In Perfect Peace and Light Perpetual shine on him.
VIEWING/VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICES
On Saturday, December 2, 2023, there will a visitation/viewing at 10 a.m. at the LEA Funeral Home located at 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC 27610 and Funeral Services start at 11 a.m. at the same venue.
Burial follows immediately at the Brier Creek Memorial Gardens located at 7600 ACC Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27617
