With heavy hearts, yet in thanksgiving to God, the Tubman, Karpeh, Nebo, Worjloh, Campbell, Smith, Gadegbeku, and Hezley-Davis families announce the homegoing of Rhoda Joh-Munah Tubman. This mournful event occurred on January 5, 2024, after a protracted illness.
Rhoda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alfred F. Tubman, her children Alfred Dehconti and Tinisi E. Tubman, her grandchild Riley Tubman-Jones, her siblings Mary Karpeh Snowe, Francis T. Karpeh II, Ethel Kotee (Augustine), Alston S. Karpeh (Aline), John Karpeh, Josephine Karpehy-Kyne, Abla Williams, Darlington Boye (Holly), Vivian Lewis-Cooper, Joseph Karpeh, several nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
She is pre-deceased by her parents, RFT Karpeh I and Ruth Nebo-Karpeh, and siblings Carlton, Elizabeth Sewon, James Swankan, and Daniel Tarpleh.
We are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this challenging time.
