It is with deep sorrow that the Pratt, Warner, Parsons and Taylor families announce the passing of Rev Rhoda T. Warner, a devoted daughter and servant of faith and community.
Rhoda was a proud graduate of McKendree University, where she earned her undergraduate degree, and later completed her Master of Divinity at Duke University. Guided by her calling, she dedicated her life to ministry and service and was a Pastor within the Illinois Great Rivers Conference, where she faithfully served and ministered to her congregations as well as supporting the spiritual growth of many.
Rhoda’s legacy is one of compassion, faith, justice and steadfast commitment through serving others. She will be remembered for her devout devotion to God, her care for those in need, and her tireless efforts to uplift her community by her presence and light.
Rhoda was preceded in death by her grand-parents Joseph Pratt and Christiana Parsons-Pratt. She leaves to cherish her memories her parents Rev Sylvester and Rev Aletha Pratt-Weatherall, her father Rev George Warner and his wife Bleh. Her beloved sister Blesen Pratt and brother George Warner Jr, her uncles Shedrick Taylor, Winston Mensah, Roosevelt Pratt and Josph Pratt Jr. her numerous aunties and cousins and the Liberian Communities of Springfield, Illinois and Detroit, Michigan.
