It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Sisusa, Bestman, Parson families announce the home-going of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and loving friend, Rev. Lessie M. Sisusa. She answered the call to be with the Lord on May 12th, 2024 in Danbury, CT, United States. Darling, as she was affectionately called by her loved ones, was surrounded by family as she transitioned home.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her children, Evangeline Armstrong, Robert Sisusa, Rev. Vivion Sisusa, Betty Sisusa, Ruby Ritchie, Louise Sisusa, Marline Sisusa, her sisters Sarah Bestman and Dorothy Parson, her brother James Parson and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and host of relatives located in Liberia and the United States.
She is predeceased by her loving late husband Col. Lewis G. Sisusa, her sons; Jeremiah Dunn, Gentry Sisusa, and Cyrus Sisusa, her sisters Lucy Bestman, Watchie Bestman, Christiane Pratt, Annie Sancho, and brothers; James Bestman, Moses Kangar, Borbor Bestman.
With her time here on earth, Darling touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed near and far. May her soul rest in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior.
