It is with profound sadness that the Francis and Brown families announce the home-going of Patricia Francis Brown.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, in Fresno, California, USA.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Robert Francis, III and Fatima Brown; her grandson, Robert Francis IV; her brother, Robert Francis, II; her friends, Welma Campbell Mashinini Redd, Juliette Frances, Eddie Page, Anika Ward, Richelieu & Martha Campbell, Esther Bailor Momoh, and and friends from Methodist Elementary School (now JJ Roberts) in Monrovia, Liberia, and Annie Welsh Secondary School in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Patricia was predeceased by her mother, Henrietta (Heinie) Velasco Francis who owned and operated a beauty and barber shops in Ducor Palace, Monrovia. Her father, Robert Francis, I, was the aviation engineer for the Liberian National Airline (LNA) in Monrovia.
Pat will be lovingly remembered for her exuberance and compassion, her faith in God, and the strength of her convictions. Before falling ill, she lived an active life filled with a love for her family & friends, and for swimming, cooking, gardening, interior decorating and more.
May her soul and the souls of her beloved who departed before her, rest in perfect peace.
