It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the family of R. Fole Sherman, Sr. announces the untimely demise of their beloved mother, sister, aunt and cousin, Musu Florence Sherman. This said event occurred on January 20, 2025 at the J.F.K. Medical Center after a brief period of illness.
She is survived by her son, Varney Gean, her daughter, Ronnelisa Karpeh, sisters – Cianna Sherman-Wotorson, Victoria Sherman-Britt, Felicia Sherman-Boyce, brothers – T. Siafa Sherman, R. Fole Sherman, Jr., Varney G. Sherman, S. Lao Sherman, her sisters-in-law – Julia Sherman, Joyce Dunbar-Sherman, Janice Pratt-Sherman, nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, R. Fole Sherman, Sr and Yatta Fahnbulleh Sherman. Her siblings: Edith Sherman-Scott, Theresa Sherman-Pennoh, Rose Sherman-Bartie, Famatta Sherman-Mitchell, Anna Sherman and Joyce Sherman-Calhoun.
Funeral Services for the late Florence Musu Sherman will be on February 15, 2025.
The body will be removed from the Anderson Funeral Home @ 8:00am and taken to the St.Stephen Episcopal Church for funeral services to begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at the Dunn Family Cemetery, Clay Ashland, Virginia, Montserrado County.
