The Payne, Mensah, Macauley and Macfoy Families regret to announce the death of Ms. Albertha Payne-Garway, grandmother, mother, sister and cousin. This sad event took place on October 10, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air Maryland after a brief illness.
She is survived by her daughters Melvina Mensah and Danielette Massaquoi, her sons Joseph Mensah and Reynold Allison, and her sister Juanita Bright Macauley among a host of other relatives. She was predeceased by her sons Gus Mensah and Darlingston Mensah.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday November 23, 2024, at the Global Methodist, Wesley Church of Elkton at 41 Justice Way, Elkton MD 21921. There will be a brief viewing from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The remains will later be taken to Liberia where a funeral service will be held on December 21, 2024, at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Upper Caldwell, Montserrado County at 9 am
