Mrs. Theodosia Kwenaine Morgan-Metzger

May 17, 1944 – February 26, 2024

It is with the saddest regret and with heavy heart that the Metzger, Morgan and Deshield families announce the transition from this earthly world to her heavenly home of Mrs. Theodosia Kwenaine Morgan-Metzger. This culmination of her life’s journey took place at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland on February 26, 2024. Our mother was the pillar of the family and the glue that kept us together. Mom was born on May 17,1944 in Gbarnga City, Bong County, Liberia unto the union of her parents, Father Edward Hne-Wea Morgan and Mother Christine Esther Morgan. Whereas her parents predeceased her, there were sad moments when she mourned the loss of her two gentlemen (sons), Melville Francis Harris III and Othello MacArthur Deshield, her Grand Daughter, Melviline Harris, as well as one of her darling sisters, Ms. Anna Morgan Smith.

After four scores of her years, we are reminded of Romans 8 28-31(KJV):
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
