The Families of the late Rev Edward Augustine Sebah Brooks, Rev Thomas Henry Brewer and William Harris, with gratitude to God and profound sadness announce the transition from labor to rest of our daughter,sister , mother and grandmother Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Brooks Brewer Harmon in her 98th year. This transitional event occurred on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Wichita Center for Rehabilitation and Wellness after a brief illness. She was two days short from celebrating her 98th birthday which was scheduled for Wednesday, August 17.
The remains of Mother Sarah Elizabeth Brewer Harmon has been entrusted to the Billman Hunt Funeral Chapel in Minneapolis, Minnesota pending Funeral arrangements.
Mother Sarah Elizabeth Brewer Harmon was the Matriarch of both the Brewer and the Brooks clans. She has now joined her ancestors and those predecessors; including her parents and some of her children. Those children: Dashward Jessa Brewer, Landis Augustus Brewer, Tilmon Brewer, Thomas Josiah Brewer, and Rev Dr Daniel Sasaro Brewer.
She leaves behind her six surviving children including: Rev Evans Bannie Brewer of Greenville Liberia; Mr Stephen Brewer Dweh-Chenneh of Wichita Kansas; Annie Zean Brewer, Rev Dr Henry Sebah Brewer and Edward kla Brewer all of Missouri and Sophie Sheriff of Monrovia Liberia; her forty six (46) grandchildren and her host of great grandchildren; her five surviving siblings including Mrs Leticia Brooks Roberts ,Araminta Brooks all of USA and Rebecca Peto Brooks Wreh, Richard Brooks and Jackie Brooks Murry of Monrovia Liberia.
Funeral services over the remains of Mother Sarah Brewer Harmon is expected to be held at: Brooklyn United Methodist
