Our tears will dry-out, but our love for you will last forever. Now that you are peacefully sleeping away from all your agony and pain; our words are few and our thoughts are deep; but the memories of you in our hearts will last till eternity.
It is with heavy hearts that the Johnson, King, Cooper, Toles, Tarpeh, Capehart and Banks families sadly announce the home going of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, cousin, and friend, Mrs. Olive Johnson Cooper after a protracted illness. This sad event occurred on March 12, 2023 at precisely 8:41 pm, at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
Mrs. Cooper was born unto the union of Mr. Seth Henry Johnson and Mrs. Sarah Henrietta King-Johnson on August 14, 1941, Township of Virginia (Banjor, Lower Virginia), Liberia. She was the second of four siblings. She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Albert B. Cooper, Sr., beloved son, Mr. Christopher A. Tah; her aforementioned parents; sister, Mrs. Genevieve Johnson Davies; and her brother, Hon. Wesley Momo Johnson, the former Interim Vice President of the Republic of Liberia.
She leaves to mourn her loss: Children: Achim Cassius Tah, Albert B. Cooper, Jr. (Danielette), and Jemoh Cooper-Kun (Daniel); grandchildren: Alberline Weewee Cooper, Christine Tutugirl Tah, Clarence Papee Tah, Armah B. Cooper, Achmar Christopher Tah, Albert B. Cheapo, Aisha Christina Tah, Champ Tah, and Blessing Antoinette Kun; sister; Mrs. Pandora Johnson Barclay; Best friend, Ms. Johnetta R. Minor; and her only surviving aunt, Mrs. Edna Bickersteth-Toles. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
