It is with profound sadness and regret that the Momoh, Ngangana, Zubah, Fuah, and Manley families announce the homegoing of our beloved mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend Bertha N. Momoh affectionately known as “Ma”, “Old ma”. She spent her final hours at Delaware Memorial Hospital on March 26th, 2021 in Delaware U.S.A. surrounded by the love and support of her family. Ma thanks for being such a beacon of hope. Our memories of you will forever remain with us. You lived life to the fullest teaching by example the meaning of dignity, honor, fairness, integrity, and forgiveness. Our families “Old Ma” will truly be missed. You were a fiercely selfless, wise, independent mother whose ability to protect others and provide guidance inspired those who knew you to be better and to do better. We love and miss you dearly, Ma rest in peace until we meet again.
Ma Bertha was predeceased by her Husband Mr. James K. Momoh Sr., her sons James K. Momoh Jr., Paul T. Momoh, her daughter Eunice M. Momoh, her parents Mr. Moses Washington, and Mother Maley Washington. Surviving children: Miss Agatha Momoh, Miss Anna S. Momoh, Mrs. Sarah Momoh-Lawrence, Miss Sangai Duwana, Mrs. Elizabeth Canneh, Miss Anita Momoh Grandchildren: Mrs. Yanneh Momoh-Kumeh, Mrs. Sedia Pawa-Brown, Mr. Steven K. Jallah, Mrs. Emma Yama Jallah, Mr. Jay Canneh, Miss Eunice T. Jallah, Mr. Beresford V. Johnson, Miss Agatha T. Momoh, Miss Jamesetta A. Momoh, Miss Comfort Sirleaf, Mrs. Mabel Sworr, Miss Miatta Kallon, Mr. Mohammed Kallon, Mr. Washington Mulbah, Miss Estella Dowor, Sarah Duwana, and Mr. Bobby Kallon Great Grandchildren: Alvin Parkee, Lloyd Douglas, Keith Kumeh, Devine Jallah, Riah Brown. Siblings: Dr. Jerome W. Ngangana, Mr. Paul T. Ngangana, Mrs. Famatta Zubah, Dr. Margaret N. Kromah. Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
