It’s is with heavy hearts and deep regret that we, the families of The Nicol’s, Kalay’s and Tuffour’s, reluctantly announce the untimely passing of Mrs. Annie Comfort Nicol-Kalay. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and loving friend. She passed away peacefully, amongst her closet of family members Friday evening at the UM Baltimore Washington Hospital in Maryland.
“Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”-Proverbs 31:31
Mrs. Annie is survived by her four children; Albert Kalay, Blyden Kalay, Kwame Tuffour, and Jardia Kalay. Her devout husband, Ajavon Kalay. Her siblings include Berthan Nicol, Cynthia Nicol, Brown Davis and Quenella Nicol. Annie is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, church members and friends.
Annie was predeceased by her Parents, Sydney Albert Victor Nicol and Annie Evelyn Nicol and her siblings Albert Nicol, Blyden Nicol, Sydney Nicol.

Mrs. Annie Comfort Nicol was dedicated to every person that played a part in her life, big or small. Annie was selfless, the kind of person you can count on rain or shine. You can always depend on her, day or night. She could never turn her back on someone in need and genuinely loved to give back to her community. Comfort was a God-fearing and hardworking woman. Always willing to sacrifice anything for her children. These are just some of the virtues that made Mrs. Annie so special. We cherish these and all the wonderful memories she has left us with, all too soon.
