
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Beyan/Zaza family announces the passing of their beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, Mr. Timothy Y. Zeze Beyan Sr. He passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, in Monrovia, Liberia. The body of the late Mr. Timothy Y. Zeze Beyan has been entrusted to St. Moses Funeral Parlors.
Affectionately known as “Daddy” by his family, he was a cherished member of our family, and his loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him. While we grieve Mr. Beyan’s passing, we also celebrate his life and contributions.
Mr. Beyan served in various esteemed roles throughout his career, including as Academic Dean of the Zorzor Rural Teachers Training Institute (ZRTTI), Director of the Kakata Rural Teachers Training Institute (KRTTI), Deputy Mayor of the City of Monrovia, and Vice President for Academic Affairs at AME Zion Community College.
He is survived by his children: Emmett Beyan (Jackie), Timothy Beyan Jr. (Ruth), Anita Beyan-Nagbe, Garmai Beyan, Nowu Fahnbulleh (Desmond), and Daniel Beyan (Charlesetta), along with Kesseley Beyan. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of family members, relatives, and friends in Liberia and the United States of America.
