If ever there was a life that spoke most ardently to love and friendship, it was Nick’s. His life and presence were gifts to us all. Every detail of his life was a recognition of beauty, sacrifice, and love. Every moment he lived reminded us of why one’s passion is a celebration.
The Sheriff, Garnett, Goodridge, and Berrian families announce with tremendous sorrow and a grateful heart of God’s will the homegoing of our dearest husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, cousin, and uncle, Mr. Nicholas Jim Sheriff Sr.
Nick surrendered to the will of his maker and redeemer and took his wings on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 4:24, p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Nick Transitioned in love with his beloved wife, Mei by his bedside.
He was born in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa to the union of Dr. John G. Sheriff and Rachal Garnett.
Nick leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife, Jamesetta Amelia Berrian Sheriff (he affectionately called Mei)
His loving mother, Rachel Garnett
Children: Younnie Sheriff (Gladys), Teddy Sheriff (Almena), Nicholas Sheriff Jr., Dreem Sheriff, Edward John Sheriff (Star), Malaika Fenzel (Matt), and Temple Dahn.
Siblings: Ion Sheriff, Marcia Dunlop (John), Sophia Sheriff, and John Sheriff, Grandchildren: Avenel Sheriff, Malani Sheriff, Nicci Sheriff, Nicholas Sheriff III, Makai
Sheriff, hosts of nieces, nephews, and relatives.
