UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing” (2 Timothy 4:7-8).
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the Harris, Redd and Lawson families announce the homegoing of their son, brother, nephew, cousin, father and grandfather, Mr. Harrison N. Redd in his 70th year.
This mournful event occurred on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Rego Park Health Care Facility in Queens County, New York.
Harrison leaves to mourn his loss his Son Nickolas D. Redd (Mickey); 5 Sisters Ms. Madia G. Redd, Mrs. Julia M. Redd Buckle, Ms. Margaret S. Lawson, Cllr. F. Juah Lawson and Mrs. Sunniwaye E. Kelly (James); 2 granddaughters, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia and the United States of America.
He was predeceased by his Father, Mr. George Redd, his Mother Mrs. Adeline E. Harris Horace, four Brothers George Redd, Alexander Redd, Joseph Woods, Thomas G. Redd, and one Sister Elizabeth B. Lawson.
His remains have been deposited at the Teah Funeral Home in Baltimore, Maryland pending burial rites which will take place on March 18, 2023 at the Brook Hill United Methodist Church in Frederick, Maryland.
In the meantime, the family in Liberia is meeting daily at the residence of Cllr. F. Juah Lawson on Congo Town Backroad, House number D-316.
