The Johnson, Blidi, Weah, Nurse, and Cooper families announce with great sadness the transitioning from life to glory of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Mr. Gboba Bennie Johnson (“Bennie”) on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the ELWA Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Sando Cecelia Blidi Johnson, his daughters Valerie Bowier Zeon and Chinda Julia Johnson, seven brothers, eight sisters, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunties and a host of other relatives and friends. Bennie was predeceased by his parents, Mr. Thomas B Johnson and Mrs. Julia Nurse Cooper.
We are grateful for your prayers, messages and all acts of kindness during this difficult time.
Though we mourn the loss of our Bennie’s physical presence, we rejoice in knowing that he is present with the Lord. In honor of a life well lived, arrangements are as follows:
