With heavy hearts, the Tubman, Karpeh, Davis, Nebo, and Campbell families announce the homegoing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Mr. Alfred F. Tubman, which occurred on August 31, 2025.
Alfred is survived by his children, Dehconti Alfred Tubman and Tinisi Emma Tubman; his cherished granddaughter, Riley Tubman-Jones; his son-in-law, Kevin Jones; his siblings, Dolly Abraham and Rebecca Zarwu Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Rhoda J. Tubman; his parents, Alexander Roosevelt Tubman and Emma Davis; and his siblings, Edwin Bibborbor Cummings, Clariceza Teta Cummings, Wilfred E. Smith, Cordelia Davis Gibson, Josiah Diyeo Davis, and Janet Alwood Davis.
We are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Alfred’s legacy of love, humility, and devotion will live on in the many lives he touched.
