It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Moses T. Cassell, at the age of 88 in Burlington, New Jersey. He passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family.
Moses T. Cassell was born in the Seekon District of Sinoe County on October 20, 1934. He worked at the Liberian Telecommunications Corporation for 43 years until his retirement in 1992. He led a remarkable life full of love, joy, and compassion. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth Sudue-Brewer, with whom he shared an incredible journey for many years until her passing on July 2,2020. Together they built a loving family and raised six wonderful children.
Pops, as he was affectionately called, was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He had a gift for making everyone around him feel welcomed and cherished. His presence will be deeply missed. He took great pride in his children’s accomplishments and always supported their dreams.
He is survived by his eight children; Joe, Caroline (Choppeh), Joyce, Malvenia, Arlene (Peaches), Moses, Jr., Marvin (Toby), Marcus and their respective spouses, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 201 Levitt Parkway, Willingboro, New Jersey.
As we mourn the loss of our dear father, we find solace in the knowledge that he is now with his cherished wife, Elizabeth, and that his memory will endure through the lives of those he touched.
