Affectionately known as Grandma’s Son, SUPERMAN and GENTLE GIANT
The Sanyeneh, Nimely, Bettie, Smith and Cheeks families announce, with heavy hearts, profound sadness the untimely passing of their beloved son, father, brother, nephew, cousin and friend Monroe Felix Nimely. This heartbreaking incident occurred on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in Quincy Washington, USA.
He is survived by his loving and supportive mother Mavie V. Sanyeneh, Step-Father Jules Tcheuga, his girlfriend and soulmate Elizabeth Pham, 2 daughters KeyLiah Nimley and Joylene Nimley, siblings, Ndrian David N’ Guessan (brother), Emiline Tcheuga (sister), Kristine Faith Tcheuga (sister), Aline Victoria Tcheuga (sister), T.Kpan Nimley (brother) and Tilly Kpan Nimley (brother). His aunts and uncles: Mrs. Jane D. Tuopeah (Nathaniel), Mrs. Idella V.Teeba (Albert), Mrs. Eugenia Sanyeneh-Diggs ( Wesseh), Mrs. Joyce Brown (Anthony), Ms. Catherine Janga (wife of the late Monroe Railey- Sanyeneh), Mrs. Evelyn Newon (Prince), Ms. Tetee Bestman (aunt) ,Kroh Nimley-Stewart (aunt), Nancy Nimley-Henry (aunt) other Aunts and Uncles ( on his father’s side) : Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and a host of relatives in the United States and West Africa, Liberia.
Monroe was predeceased in death by father T-Kpan Nimely “The Kplenkenten Man Of Africa”, GRANDPARENTS: Colonel James D. Sanyeneh (grandfather), Mrs. Victoria V. Bettie-Sanyeneh (grandmother), Ms. Martha Toe (great-grandmother) , Mr. Horatio N. S, Nimley (grandfather) and Mrs. Bian-Mardea Nimley (grandmother), Deaweh Faith Nimley (sister), Mr. Monroe Railey- Sanyeneh (uncle), and Edmund Jusuma Sanyeneh (cousin).
Although Monroe went home to be with the Lord at such a tender age, we are grateful to “God” for the time he allowed us to spend together with him. We know that he is resting peacefully in the arms of our Almighty Father. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”. Psalms 23: 4
We will TRULY MISS his infectious smile, laughter and his compassionate heart. Monroe will be remembered fondly and lovingly as a dedicated and 24/7 father he was to his daughters. GRANDMA’S SON was a devoted, peaceful, loving, and supportive family man to his beloved mother, soulmate Elizabeth Pham, 2 daughters, his siblings and his loved ones. Our SUPERMAN & GENTLE GIANT was a selfless man, who would easily give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was always the comedian at any family function, we could rely on Monroe to tell the funny jokes. Our SUPERMAN and Gentle GIANT, will be greatly missed by his parents, siblings, 2 daughters, soulmate Elizabeth Pham, family and friends. We will FOREVER cherish his beautiful memories.

MONROE MAY YOUR BEAUTIFUL SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH BUT, GOD LOVES YOU MORE.
