The Scott-Marshall, Sieh, Jackson, & Phillips family regret to announce with heavy hearts the passing of their beloved Sister, Mother, & Aunt Marie J. Scott.
Marie J. Scott, affectionately known as Tarie/ Dati, sis. Marie, aunt Marie, cousin Marie by her children family and friends, she passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2026 at 12:20pm at her daughter Precious residence in Bristol Pennsylvania. She was a devoted Baptist, Tarie lived a life rooted in faith, love, and kindness. Her life was a true testament to the power of prayer and unwavering belief in God. She Known for her warm, sociable, and family-oriented nature, she was deeply loved within her community. Her smiles light up the room.
Tarieโs legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and selflessness. She touched countless lives through her giving spirit and her constant willingness to uplift and support others. Her dedication to prayer and service guided her throughout her life and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Though she will be deeply missed, Tarieโs spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Sieh Jackson and Mary Worjloh.
Tarie is survived by her siblings: Annette Jackson; Cecelia Sieh Kofi (Edward); Randolph Sieh (Frances); Aston King (Mae); and Patrick King (Emma). She is also survived by her children: Joe B. Scott (Nancy); Marion T. Scott-Phillips (Elmer); Daniel B. Scott Jr.; Munah Scott; Christina Scott-Musu (Peter); Margaret Scott-Faeflen (Sam); and Jacob Okai (Rose). She leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
