O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, That You give us the strength and will to bear our heavy burdens, until we can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of us and have mercy on us while we struggle to comprehend life’s hardships.
With heavy hearts, the Patten and Bropleh families announce the death of their daughter, mother, aunt, and cousin, Deacon Margaret Tugbah Patten. Margaret departed this world on January 12, 2024, at her home in King Gray, Paynesville, after a protracted illness. She was 60 years old.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memories her beloved son, Winner Thomas, six (6) sisters, two (2) brothers, several nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia and the diaspora. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, George Patten and Mary Siehdi Bropleh; Her brothers, Louis Wollor, Anthony Patten, and Maitland A. N. Edwards (Matey); Sisters, Anna Patten and Victoria Patten.
Funeral services are as follows:
The body will be removed from the Capehart Funeral Home in Caldwell on Saturday, March 2, at 8 a.m. and taken to the Great Commission Worldwide Ministries Inc. Gilgal Temple, Flahn Town Lower New Georgia Freeway, Somalia Drive. An hour of wake keeping will commence and be followed immediately by the funeral service. All tributes will be paid during the wake except for the Great Commission Worldwide Ministries Inc. and the family. Burial will take place at the Brewerville Cemetery.
