The Kemayah, Larmie, Golanyon, Otis Mason, Charyoe, Bundoedu, Kpaemalo, Karngba and all other affiliated Families regret to inform the general public of the unfortunate death of Ma-Watta Kumba Soliyah-Larmie in her Seventy-fifth (75th) year. This very sad event occurred on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 8:46p.m. at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia.
Born in Foyah District, Lofa County, Liberia, Ma-Watta Kumba Soliyah-Larmie was a beacon of education, humanity, kindness, resilience, courage, productivity, discipline, progress, determination, hope, care and strength.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, education, discipline, Liberian entrepreneurship, Women Empowerment, Youth Empowerment, Girl Power and countless lives touched and transformed.
Funeral rites for our Late Beloved Ma-Watta Kumba Soliyah-Larmie will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 as follows:
The Body of Ma-Watta Kumba Soliyah-Larmie will be removed from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home at 9:00a.m. prompt on Friday, April 10, 2026, and taken to the Historic Providence Baptist Church on Ashmun Street, Monrovia, Liberia, where her Funeral Service will begin at 9:30a.m. precisely.
Following the funeral service on Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Historic Providence Baptist Church on Ashmun Street, the body of Ma-Watta Kumba Soliyah-Larmie will immediately be taken on the same day to the Kaiser Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Brewerville, Montserrado County for burial.
Right after the burial of Ma-Watta Kumba Soliyah-Larmie, loved ones, friends, neighbors, community members, sympathizers, guests and well-wishers who attend her funeral service will all join the Kemayah, Larmie, Golanyon, Otis Mason, Charyoe, Bundoedu, Kpaemalo, Karngba and all other affiliated Families at the St. Gabriel Catholic Parish Hall in Brewerville, Montserrado County for the Repast in final honor, respect and loving memory of our Late Beloved Mother – Ma-Watta Kumba Soliyah-Larmie.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her children, Daughter-In-Law, Sons-In-Law, Brothers-In-Law, Sisters-In-Law, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Sisters, Brothers, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and a host of other relatives, friends, Well-wishers and Sympathizers, including, but not limited to Aunty Kpannah Nyanmae Soliyah Peters, Uncle Momo Fallah Peters, Uncle Michael Larmie, Mr. Lawrence Kemayah, Mrs. Julie Kumba Kemayah-Flingai, Mr. John Flingai, Deacon Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr., Former Minister of Foreign Affairs And Dean of the Cabinet of the Republic of Liberia, Rev.
