It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that the Okotie and Gaye families announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunty, and niece, Esther V. Okotie.
She was rushed to the hospital on February 20th but, sadly, was confirmed dead on arrival. Her passing has left a great void in our hearts; however, we take comfort in the love she gave, the beautiful memories we shared, and the impactful life she lived.
She is survived by her three children: Gilbert Okotie, Winston Weah, and Agnes Weah. She is also mourned by her siblings: Mr. Winston Okotie, Sis. Agnes Okotie, Mr. Raymond T. Jerry, Sis. Vero Okotie, Bro. Alex Okotie, Mrs. Marie Okotie Kelly, and Mrs. Pandora Okotie Mensah; along with her cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia and around the world.
Her mortal remains have been deposited at the Abraham Robert Funeral Parlor, Gardnerville, Japanese Freeway, Monrovia, Liberia.
The third and final family meeting in respect of her funeral arrangements will be held as follows:
