Lita Christian Anderson

As she is absent from this body, we know that she is present with the Lord (Corinthians 2^nd 5:8)

The Anderson, Brown, and Christian families announce, with deep regret and profound sadness, the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Cousin and friend, Mrs. Lita Christian Anderson, affectionately called, “Teacher Lita” by her students. This sad event occurred on the early morning of Monday, June, 29, 2026, in Queens, New York.

Lita is predeceased by her late husband James D. Anderson and survived by her dear children: Letia Anderson – Udensi (Victor); Linda Anderson – Harris, (David); James Norman Anderson, II (Lady);  Amb. David W. Anderson (Pamela); Patricia Anderson; Cynthia Anderson; Albert Anderson; Antoinette Anderson – Kumeh (Ernest); William P. Anderson (Ellen); Rose Anderson – Nimely (Tony); and Joseph D. Anderson. Also to mourn her loss are her Grand Children, Brothers and Sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends in Liberia and the United States of America.

She will be greatly missed, especially for her love and dedication to her family and friends.
