It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lieutenant Colonel Major Clement Wright, which occurred on November 4, 2024, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
He leaves to mourn his death: his sisters, Louise Wright-Brown-Reeves, Elfreda Wright-Barclay, and Aretha Wright-Collins, twenty-seven children, seventy-six grandchildren, fourth-nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Major was predeceased by his wife, Jemima McGill-Wright, his mother, Marie Morris-Wright, and his father, Clement Wright, eight brothers, and seven sisters.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23-2024, at noon at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418
The interment will take place in Monrovia, Liberia.
