The Brent and Garnett families announce with grief-stricken hearts and profound sadness the death of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Lewellyn Enuakateh Brent. This untimely and sad event occurred at his home in Old Matada on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Lewellyn leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: his daughter, Julia Brent Agbonavbare (Edwin); sons, Errol Brent (Hannah), Burgess Brent, Lewellyn Brent Jr., Michael J. Brent, James Alexander Brent, Tyler E. Brent, Samuel E. Brent; fiancé, Anna J Nelson; grandchildren, Adrianna Brent, Grace Agbonavbare, Jeremiah Agbonavbare, Cedric Brent, Evra Brent, Erela O Brent, Jaelynn Brent, Jamari Brent, Tristan Brent, Phoenix Brent, Deion Brent; Siblings, Massa Brent Gbellee, Genevieve E. Brent, Rev. J. Julius Brent (Kula), Nehemiah E. Brent Sr. (Maluwoi), Nutu E. Lewis (E. Tyson), Theodosia Scott (John), Rev. Francis Brent (Rebecca), Alex Brent (Christina), Charles Brent, Amelia Brent, Viola Mitchell, Betty Brent Sehwah (Mark) Theodosia Brent, Annette Jlay, and Ada Mai Baysah. His memories are also cherished by, his lifelong best friend Lady McCauley, and a great host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James A. Brent, and Julia C. Brent; siblings, Maggie Brent Jackson, Walter O. Adighibe, Harry Brent, and George Brent
