The Cooper-Grear family announces with profound sadness the untimely home-going of their mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, etc.… Julia Cooper Grear passed away at the Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She was predeceased by her parents, the Honorable Cyrus S. Cooper and Mrs. Esther D. Cooper of Grand Gedeh County, Liberia, her Husband Dr. Lawrence Grear, 2 brothers, Cyrus Soko Cooper and Charles Cooper, 2 sisters, Toosie Cooper and Josephine Cooper, and stepmother Priscilla Lambert -Cooper.
She leaves to mourn two children, Chukuma Belle and Julian Grear, 2 brothers Wilhelm Cooper and Cyrus Cooper 2nd, 11 sisters, Lucretia Cooper- Turnquist, Annie Cooper Wilson -Zaza, Dr. Eugenia Cooper, Ellen Cooper- Nyonde, Mona Baye Cooper, Munah P. Ogamba, Eve Woodson, Priscilla Cooper, Vesta Gbintor, Mamie and Decontee Cooper, stepmother Frances Darlue Gwion, Aunt Vour-Nyon, several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends in the diaspora and Liberia.
