It is with the heaviest of hearts that the Askie, Page, Scott, and Marshall families announce the homegoing of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, Joseph Winston Askie.

Winston, affectionately called by many names — Buddy by his wife, Daddy by his girls, PoPo by his grandchildren, Bro Winston by his family, Sub, by his friends — transitioned from this life at the loving home he built for his family on January 28, 2024. He was predeceased in death by his mother, Martha Scott Askie and his father, George W. Askie, Sr.

He has left to carry on his cherished memory his wife of 43 years, Pheobe Page-Askie; his daughters Andrea (Joel), Jowina, Dr. Pheobe Nywreh (Jacob); his grandchildren, Chase, Bryce, and Catalina; and his siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He leaves a legacy of love, friendship, laughter, and memories that will be indelibly etched in our collective minds as long as we live. He will be sorely missed especially by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally.
