With deep sadness, the Campbell family announces the passing of our beloved Jones Logan Campbell, Jr., affectionately known as Logan, following a brief illness at JFK Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia on October 13, 2026.
Born at ELWA Hospital in Liberia to the late Jones Logan Campbell, Sr. and Judith Grigsby Campbell, Logan was a gifted, creative and spirited individual who lived life on his own terms.
A graduate of Howard University, Logan built a career in broadcast journalism, including work with BET and other digital media platforms. His creativity also found expression through the arts.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Judith Grigsby Campbell; his five children, Rachel, Immanuel, Melchizedek, Lia and Faith; his sisters, Lorna Campbell Clarke (Winfred) and Nevene Gbeho (Koblah); his brother, Randolph Mondubue; his aunts, Joan Grigsby, Konjit Grigsby and Bernice Campbell O’Neal, along with a host of relatives and loved ones.
Logan will be remembered for his individuality, creativity and the lasting impression he made on those who knew and loved him.
