It’s with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother and friend. Jacqueline B. Andrews AKA J’girl, who departed this life peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital (JFK) in Monrovia, Liberia after a brief period of illness. Jacqueline B. Andrews was born on June 26, 1964 in Monrovia to her parents Hon. D. Jarpee Andrews and Lucy J. Hne. Jacqueline B. Andrews AKA J’girl was raised with strong values of respect, hard work, and compassion for all.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children, Mary Ann Andrews, Christiana K. Birch (Calvin Birch), Alvin Nyenapee, Alfred Andrews, Levi Sorsor, Facia Kemayah. She is also survived by her siblings, Roland Andrews, Monica Sickie, Ramonita Banks – Johnson(Patrick C. Johnson), Gloria L. Dennis-Johnson(Clifford Johnson), Lloyd Andrews, Helen Clark, Getrude Andrews, Veronica Andrews, Mercy Andrews, Cyrus Andrews, David Andrews, Alex Andrews, Jarpee Andrews, Polka Andrews, Patience Andrews, Richard Andrews; 5 grandchildren Ahed Praise Torkpa, Cyril Paye Torkpa, Ephriam Devine Nyenapee, Alfreda Prayer Andrews and Ernest T. Teah Jr, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. whose lives were forever enriched by her love, faith, and friendship.
Please keep the family in your prayers, especially the children as they mourn the loss of their mother, sister and grandmother as she transitions from labor to rest. May the light of God shine perpetually upon her.
