It is with deep sorrow and profound love that the Jarbo, Johnson, Clements, Vinton, Flamma, and Hungerford announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother, friends and other relative. Eva madia Johnson Jarbo peacefully departed this life on June 3rd 2025 at the Boston Medical Center in Boston Massachusetts.
Born on December 23, 1958, Eva live a life marked by grace, strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family, and faith. She touched countless lives with her kindness, her wisdom, and her generous spirit. Eva was a woman of deep values and quiet strength, who stood as a pillar in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
The late Eva Madia Johnson Jarbo was predeceased in death by her father, Kollie Jojo Johnson, her mother Rev. Mother Frances Hungerford, her grandmother Frances Hungerford, her daughter Christina Gbadeh Flamma Karbo, her brother Ishmael Oldpa luckyboy Johnson, and her sister Aletha Johnson.
She will always be fondly remembered by her Living Word Tabernacle Church family, her husband Eddie Jarbo, her brothers Christian T. Modzakah, and Jonathan Nester Harvey, her children Cynthia Clement, Anna Vinton Mills (George Godfrey Mills Jr), Zeagar S. Flamma Jr, and Evamai Flamma. Also mourning her lost are her Aunts Sarah Jane Roberts Hungerford, and Rose Merchant, her sixteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, Liberian Community of Lowell Massachusetts, a host of other relatives, and friends in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and the United States of America.
Funeral arrangements are as follows.
On Saturday June 28, 2025 her Mortal Remain will be removed from the Fay McCabe Funeral Home at 9:00 AM and taken to:
Living Word Tabernacle Church
142 Moore Street, Lowell MA 01852
An hour of Wake keeping will be held follows by a funeral service.
She will be laid to rest at the West lawn II Cemetery
305 Boston Road, Lowell MA 01852
Repast will be held at the:
Christ Jubilee Church Hall
101 Smith Street, Lowell MA 01851
All tributes will be paid at the wake keeping accept for the organizations and the family.
