It is with profound sadness that the Tay and Kyne families announce the passing of Benjamin Adolphus Kofi Tay, who departed this life on October 29, 2025.
Benjamin was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose warmth, wisdom, and generosity touched countless lives across both the United States and Ghana.
He was predeceased by his siblings Theodora, Gladys, Samuel, Wisdom, Kwaku, Agnes, and Gloria.
Benjamin’s legacy lives on through his devoted wife, Sarah Tay, and their cherished children: Christian, Evelyn, Comfort, Clarence, Michael, George, and Yvette. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren — Rashid, Dinnel, Cherie, Ahmed, Falontah, Charmaine, Imani, Xavier, Xavian, Nadira, and Elijah — as well as his great-grandchildren.
He is further survived by his siblings David and Hope, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Benjamin will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his unwavering faith, kind spirit, and enduring love for his family and community.
