The Prall, Zayzay, Jemmeh and Kemah-Bing families, with profound sorrow, announce the passing of Honorable John Mulbah Prall—a devoted husband, father, uncle, cousin, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, friend, and faithful Christian.
This sad event occurred on December 26, 2025, at Silver Stream Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Spring House, Pennsylvania.
Honorable John Mulbah Prall, former Director and Assistant Minister of Birth & Vital Statistics at the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, was born on November 2, 1939, in Sekemah, Voinjama District, Lofa County, Liberia, to Kebeh Jemmeh and Dawilay Zayzay. At a young age, he relocated to Monrovia, Liberia, where he lived with his brother, the late Jallah K. Prall, and began his educational journey. This strong foundation led to many years of dedicated public service to his country.
Honorable John Mulbah Prall is survived by his loving wife, Nettie K. David-Prall; his children Velecia Prall-Major, Adam Prall, Yeatoe Prall, Tormu Prall, Korlu S. D. Prall, and Jallah B. M. Prall; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his church family, friends, and a host of relatives in the United States and Liberia, West Africa.
Honorable John Mulbah Prall will be remembered for his intellect, discipline, sense of humor, and unwavering commitment to education and public service.
