With deep sorrow and blessed hope in Christ, the family of Mother Florence Tarawali Zabadee announces her peaceful transition into eternal rest on April 23rd, 2026.
Mother Florence was born on June 12, 1960 in Monrovia, Liberia to the late Sekou Tarawali and Sando Jallah. At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She faithfully walked with the Lord throughout her life.
Mother Florence was known for her unwavering faith, compassionate heart and powerful words of encouragement. She dedicated her life to sharing the gospel, comforting the broken-hearted and praying for those in need.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
And he said unto me, ” My Grace is sufficient for thee, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest up me.”
Mother Florence left Liberia for the USA in December 2012 to seek greener pastures. She enjoyed her work as a dedicated Caregiver to the elderly until her retirement.
Mother Florence leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Nelson Garr (son), Rufina Kofi (daughter), Nyawala Sonnie Zabadee (daughter) and Comfort Zabadee (daughter), 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, friends, community friends. Her best friend Kabibi Badu and her one and only beloved sister who stood there all of her life Pastor Brenda Korpo Dorbor.
